Welcome to Marlee & Me Photography!
Marlee & Me Photography started with rescue dogs. Shelter animals are more likely to be adopted if they have amazing pictures that showcase their personality. I volunteered my time to several local rescues and have met/snuggled/photographed over 300 dogs and cats. The time I spend volunteering for rescues really fuels my soul. I get to meet so many sweet, loving and deserving adoptables.
This passion has evolved into taking photos of pets, children, and families. And I love all of it!
There are so many special moments that pass us by without notice. Little things, like a baby pooping on her dad for the first time, a dog sleeping by the warmth of a bonfire, snow falling on a sunny day. I try to capture those moments and make them memories.

Hi There!
Hi! I’m Marlee! I think I should mention how much I love animals first. Just throw it out there. I love animals. Like, all of them. I haven’t met a pup, cat, or snake I didn’t like. And I’ve always had an obsession with them…I played in my uncle’s pigsty when I was little (piggies included). I read every dog book the library had. I would dream about living with wolves.
When I got my first pup, Monty, I was in complete, total LOVE. I had never experienced a connection like that before. I knew there was something so special between a pet and their human. The Power of Pets. They change you, as I’m sure you know.
I fell in love with cameras and photography during High School, in the darkroom. I’ve always been an artist, but photography is where I really shined. I took photos here and there as the years went by, but ultimately came back to it a few years ago and fell back in love.
When I’m not working, I love to be outside, surrounded by nature. I could sit out in the woods for hours just soaking in the sights, sounds and smells. Want to go on an adventure hike with your pup? Let’s go! Want to get kayaking shots with your water-loving dog? I’m all in.
